  • THE ROTARY CLUB OF MULLATIVU -Donation of Rs936,000 to award financial assistance to 26 students who have entered for Medicine, Engineering, Dental, Science& Nursing from Mullaitivu District in May 2016
  • ASSIST RR Donation of Rs1,044,000 in Sept 2017 to award financial assistance to 29 students who have entered for Medicine, Engineering,Dental, Science, Maths, Accountancy, Music & Nursing from Mullaitivu District.

(B) HEALTH PROJECTS

MOOLAI HOSPITALSo far donation in excess of Rs 13.0 Million has been granted for the following projects (May 2005- Sept 2016)

  • Running Cost of a Diabetic Centre (Rs 9.2 Million) .
  • Renovation of Maternity Ward (Rs 2.5 Million) .
  • Training of 25 Nurses (Rs 1.2 Million) .
  • Training of staff members in the use of computers at Jaffna College Technical Institute e. Donation of 10 Computers f. Funding for the conference on Diabetics g. Funding for the networking of computers .

CANCER PREVENTION PROJECT

  • CANE.U.K. ( Cancer Aid in North & East) Donation of £1000-00 to in June 2008 .
  • CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY HINDU CULTURAL SOCIETY Donation of £500-00 in March 2010 towards Cancer Research UK &ManithaNeyam Trust.
  • SIVABHOOMI CANCER FUND JAFFNA Contribution of £500-00 .
  • INSTITUT CLAUDIS REGAUD in Toulouse, France Donation of 12,500 Euros towards Research into Diagnosis, Treatment & Prevention of Cancer in Oct 2010 .
  • CANE.U.K. ( Cancer Aid in North & East) Donation of £2978-00 to in July 2011.
  • AMIL HEALTH ORGANISATION Donation of £2000-00 to THO for Health prevention in North & East March 2009.
  • JAFFNA JAIPUR CENTRE FOR DISABILITY REHABITION Donation of £3000-00 towards limp fitting project in July 2011 .
  • FRESH WATER PROJECT Donation of £600-00 has helped the villagers in Vaddukoddai to set up a fresh water project .

  • Donation of Rs 200,00 to Vattapalai Amman Humanitarian Fund in Jan 2017 for humanitarian work.
  • KALUTARA BODHI DISASTER FUND, KALUTARA, SRI LANKA . Donation Of Rs 1,000,000-00 in June 2017 to build some small houses to the  flood Victims in Sri Lanka.
  • YOUTH WELFARE LEAGUE, SITHANKERNY Donation of Rs206,500-00 in Aug 2017 to extend the facilities in the Library reading room.
